PINE TREE ISD 10-YEAR MASTER PLAN
PHASE I
Pine Tree ISD has developed a two-phase master plan. The 2023 referendum includes additions, renovations and new construction to increase the life span of campuses and increase educational effectiveness. Proposed projects include: Additions and renovations to Parkway Elementary and Pine Tree Junior High, general renovations to Birch Elementary and older sections of Pine Tree High School, as well as the addition of a new Career and Technical Education building at the high school campus.
To facilitate this new construction at the High School the Pine Tree ISD baseball field will be relocated adjacent to the current softball facility. Renovations to the softball facility will also be included.
PHASE II
Phase II would be the larger of the phases and would include a referendum potentially around 2030 when all of the district's current debt is paid off. Phase II would be intended to replace the Birch Elementary building, as well as the older portions of Pine Tree High School. Also included would be the construction of a new main High School entrance and student drop off facing Fairmont Street.
